Please keep in mind that we are a small, family operation. If we happen to be out in the fields or otherwise tending to the farm, we may not hear the phone ring and you may have to leave us a message. In that event, we will return your call just as soon as humanly possible.

Placing an order
Orders may be placed on-line using our custom shopping basket system. Phone orders are also accepted 9:00 am to 5:00 pm eastern time, Monday through Friday. See above for details about contacting us.

Shipping information
Our botanical products are normally sent via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Please contact us if you need faster delivery. Extra charges will apply for rush shipments. For the convenience of our local customers, we also provide the free option of picking up orders at the farm. Note that Virginia sales tax will be added to all orders delivered or picked up within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Paying for an order
Credit card and debit card payments are not accepted at this time. We accept cash, personal checks and business checks. Checks should be mailed to Colonial Botanicals, 171 Little Lane, Evington Virginia, 24550; however, if you are paying by check, please be advised that we will wait for your check to *arrive and clear* before shipping your order. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH VIA THE POSTAL SERVICE AND DO NOT SEND PAYMENT ACCOUNT INFORMATION VIA EMAIL!

Gift certificates
Gift certificates issued by Colonial Botanicals are accepted, as well. Please note that gift certificates expire 12 months after purchase and are not redeemable for cash. To redeem a gift certificate online, the certificate holder should create an order through the web site as usual, and choose the payment option "call me" during checkout. Someone from the farm will calculate the final bill for the order, factoring in the gift certificate, and call the shopper to confirm the details of both their certificate and their order.

Returns
If you would like to return an item for any reason, please contact us FIRST to make arrangements. Please note that we cannot refund original shipping costs nor reimburse for cost of return shipping.

Privacy policy
We take your privacy very seriously at Colonial Botanicals. We recognize and appreciate the trust you place in us when you choose to do business with us. We do not share any of your personal information with other businesses or organizations, ever.
